 National Parks

Events: The NPS does a great job making your experience awesome.  Find an event on their calendar and get involved.

Arizona

California

Colorado

Nevada

New Mexico

State Parks

Arizona

The Arizona State Parks protects and preserves 31 State Parks and Natural Areas. They manage 8 of the top 25 most visited natural attractions in Arizona.  Volunteers are needed to maintain and preserve these areas.

Colorado

With millions of acres of public lands, Colorado gives you lots of options and lots of room to play. Nevada

Nevada’s 23 state parks, recreation areas, and historic sites are stretched across terrains as diverse as alpine forests and bone-dry deserts. Among them are natural lakes and man-made reservoirs, such as world-famous, 22-mile-longLake Tahoe or the much smaller Echo Canyon and its 35-acre reservoir. (taken from website)

Arizona

Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness: With towering cliffs, flowing water and a rich diversity of flora and fauna, Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness remains as one of Arizona's truly unique areas.

Fossil Creek Wild and Scenic River: Fossil Creek is a rare riparian area within an arid landscape. Many plants and wildlife depend on Fossil Creek for habitat, including otters, beavers, leopard frogs and black hawks. Native fish populations have been successfully restored to some segments of Fossil Creek.
